Hoot hoot  I'm here to talk about another cafe near my place. I've been to this cafe way before it was famous and before Fishee Coffee. Well, the first experience wasn't a good one so I didn't share it. However, I gave them a second try because I was craving for coffee & waffles and Fishee Coffee was closed.

Okay, they do deserve a second chance because my first visit I didn't order their signature/best sellers.

The place I was seated was a little tight and I didn't have anywhere to place the menu. Please excuse the messiness.

The King - RM13 *best seller*
This is not on the menu but it was on their counter. It is a peanut butter & banana cake, super duper yummy if you are a big fan of those two. I really recommend you guys to try this.
Just look at the chunky sweet bananas, absolutely yummy!
Rose latte - RM10
Super pretty right? I drank this on my first visit too. I think they did improved but I still prefer the Rose Latte in After Black @ Sunway.
Their rose scent and taste is much more stronger.
Rebecca - RM18 *must try!*
It's super pretty, the presentation is enough to win my heart. The fruits are really sweet and I love the Earl Grey ice cream a lot!
However, it is not as crispy as I expected.
The Symphony - RM10 *must try!*
This is super refreshing! I don't know how to describe it but you have to try this.
Perfect on a hot afternoon.
Total damage for all this beauty - RM51

My honest opinion:
On my first visit, I ordered their Baker On The Go - Crispy Croissants and it was horrible. Seriously, forget about ordering it unless you like your croissants soggy. I was really disappointed because the set was RM16 and I can get really good Croissants at YEAST for almost the same price.

What should you order instead?
Waffles. Everyone told me I should have ordered waffles instead. Yes I do agree that their waffles are much more better than their Croissants. The reason I didn't want to order waffles that day because I was told I needed to wait 30 minutes and I was starving.

What is the difference between Fishee Coffee & The Owls Cafe based on waffles? Which do you prefer?
This is a tough question. I really discussed this throughout with my boyfriend when we were eating.
Crispiness - Fishee Coffee's waffles are much more crispy and I like them really crispy!
Fruits - The Owls Cafe has much more sweeter and better fruits? They are also bigger!
Presentation - Both cafes are great but The Owls Cafe is so much more prettier.
Portion - The Owls Cafe has much bigger portion.
Ice Cream - The Owls Cafe's Rebecca waffles has Earl Grey ice cream  ♥ ♥ ♥
Value for money - The Owls Cafe wins as it is bigger, has more toppings and only RM2 difference from Fishee Coffee

I do love these two places but I prefer the cozy, sleek and quiet environment of Fishee Coffee. The Owls Cafe is cute, bright and funky but it is a bit too crowded for me. Furthermore, it is so difficult to find a parking spot in Jalil Link, you need really good luck.
