Yang Kee Beef Noodles @ Overseas Union Garden, OUG

Thursday, June 13, 2013

I've been eating in this place for more than 5 years already, I think it's worth sharing with you guys! Any beef noodles fan here?? ♥ :) You should not miss out this amazing place, it's non halal btw :x

There was a random aunty and her expression is not good :'(
Located just a few shops away from the famous Mamak - Steven Corner, you may find this place which is Restaurant Yang Kee.

The kitchen at the back, they hire foreign workers as their staff and they can speak Cantonese.

The shop is clean and airy inside because they have air conditioners inside so don't have to worry that it is stuffy and hot! I suggest you to avoid going there during lunch hour as they will be a lot of people. If you don't mind sharing tables with others then it's not much of a problem :) Going there in a big groups during peak hour are not advisable as well, but there are tables that can fit 6-8 people.
The full price menu, I translate it myself and it's really hard to do so >.<
Their prices increases all the time, getting more and more expensive but I always return to enjoy my favourite beef noodles.

Their homemade chili paste which is not spicy at all but I love it!
It goes really well with my meat and noodles.
I ordered the Iced Milo and it's really concentrated!
RM7.50 (Large)
You can opt for Egg Noodles, Bee Hoon, Kuey Teow, Lou Shu Fun and Vermicelli.
Your noodles can be dry/soup base but dry is more popular.

I personally love the Key Teow the most because I'm a kuey teow fan!
Front: Beef Balls ; Back: Mixed Beef Parts (Ngau Zap)
Restaurant Yang kee's beef balls are homemade by them, that's why it's so delicious!
Let's eat naoooooo :D
Restaurant Yang Kee serves Yong Tau Fu too, aside from their famous beef noodles. I tried a few times and it's really good. Just go to the back of the shop, pick your choice of Yong Tau Fu and they will serve to your table. Each piece is RM1.20 and it's worth it!
